To me i don’t see the point of doing it when you guys can simply trade art on your own. Artfight questions general question hello! If someone attacks do i have to attack back or is it an optional thing? I feel like the fun in artfight is discovering strangers oc’s and drawing them. You get a variety of different characters and artwork.
I never been participating in artfights because i've been really confused by it. While a human character might be worth more points than a worm, worms are way faster and easier to draw and mass produce. Yes, artfight is so fun! Not only that, it broke the character limit for artfight. Iirc the drama was that artfight points are calculated with a ton of things including number of characters.

I have met so many people this way. You can either choose a team after they're revealed or get sorted into a team when it starts, and basically you just draw someone else's character (you can draw characters of ppl on the same team as you as well, but you don't get as many points, that's just called 'friendly fire').
Art fight above all is about fun and if you're having fun you're winning art fight. A friendly reminder that you should participate for the joy of drawing, the wealth of skill you can build from drawing different characters and experimenting over the month, and the networking it can give you for commissions/building a platform and not just the possibility.

Generally people thought the idea of just spamming. I've done artfight for years now and i've gotten attacks from professional artists, beginners, and everywhere in between and i've loved their art all equally. I get the general idea of how it works, but i really worry about details like:
