Is it possible that my cricut got too hot. Both with a cutting file (from a trusted source) as well as a font from my computer. Click on settings on the cricut and then advance through the screens until you get to multicut. I just learned that on the cricut the max area for print to cut is 6.5 by 8.5. For anyone who is interested, i've started a wiki page with some information about fixing broken cricut machines. I'm currently using the cricut explorer air 2. So it seems to be working now, but too many pieces to remove from the cut.

For anyone who is interested, i've started a wiki page with some information about fixing broken cricut machines. I'm currently using the cricut explorer air 2. So it seems to be working now, but too many pieces to remove from the cut result, so i need to group more pixels together to make the cut pieces larger. I did actually get it to work on cricut by creating a negative (black background and white image) using my matlab script i wrote.
