Open Office Templates

I open from desktop or downloads whatever then go file > template > save pick a groupa and it's done portableapps openoffice_portable 3 on desktop xp post reply 3 posts • page 1 of 1 return to “templates” jump to Official apache openoffice download page. You know, i want to be able to browse them, preview them and so on. When downloading templates for use in open office, is there a preferred folder or location to store them so that i can access them easily when i start oo and clicking on the templates icon? Given that the vast majority of label sheets are stock stationery sizes containing a grid of labels, this should only require a handful of parameters. Isn't there some way of setting a default? I'd rather not mess around with templates.

Is there any way to simply create a template for labels? My libreoffice 6.2.8 has a portrait orientation 2x2 label in the zweckform group. I'm a newbie running ooo3 on mac osx, and as a mac/ms office user, i am accustomed to storing templates in a template folder, etc. When i open a new open office text document, i'm stuck on times.
