Rolling Calendar Year
I am looking for a way to automatically update the year when the current month starts. So if it starts on january 1 2010, it would end january 1, 2011. I also have a column (for other formulas) that i would like to update the year. If it is possible is there a way of having a new worksheet each year that carries forward the data from the year before (rolling 12 months) for the sickness triggers. A rolling year starts whenever the document it is found in says it starts, and ends a year later.
Basically h1 tells me how many absences they have had in the last 365. I created a spreadsheet to track all performance data for my team with two pivot tables (member and team performance summary pivot tables). Or you can do the same in the power pivot table and calculate the column there, usually when i'm making a pivot excel splits up the dates automatically for me in this way via.
