It's almost as though the language evolved rather than being properly designed.
Is there another word to indicate a. What is the collective term for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly? I have understood bicentennial as once every two hundred years, but biannual as meaning twice a year. However, my colleagues talk about. 1 why there are two different meanings for “triweekly”?
